27-12-24

The New Year season has seen a notable increase in vacation rental prices in several European capitals. According to a recent study by The Data Appeal Company - Almawave Group, rates for apartments and private homes have increased by almost 8% compared to the previous year in 25 European capitals, exceeding the 2.71% increase observed in hotels.

This phenomenon reflects a growing preference for more flexible and personalized accommodations, driving demand and, consequently, short-term rental prices. Cities such as Innsbruck stand out, with average vacation rental rates reaching €417, exceeding the €323 of local hotels.

London consolidates as the most expensive destination, with average prices of 510 euros for hotels and 467 euros for vacation rentals. In contrast, cities such as Liverpool and Athens present more affordable options, with average rates of 168 euros and 156 euros, respectively.
